About
Why I built this
Inclusive Tech Events is a free, community-run home for events, groups, and speakers for women, trans, and non-binary people in tech, and anyone of a marginalized gender.
When the Grace Hopper Celebration was cancelled, I watched something wonderful happen: people didn't wait. New groups formed, organizers spun up meetups and replacement gatherings, and invitations started flying around group chats, LinkedIn posts, and Slack channels.
The problem was finding them. If you weren't on the right list or in the right channel, you missed it. I built this site so discovery is easy: one place to find events, groups, and speakers, with a calendar, a map, and filters for the things that matter, like cost, format, and accessibility.
Anyone can add a listing, and volunteer moderators review each one to keep the site useful and free of spam. This is a labor of love. There are no ads, no tracking, and nothing for sale.
What it costs to run
$12 a year, total
That covers the domain name. Everything else (hosting, maps, spam protection, and the moderators' inbox) runs on free plans. If the site grows past them, I'll update this number.
Chip in
If the site helped you, a small contribution keeps it running and growing.
Contributions go to Quill & Coin to cover running costs. They are not tax-deductible.

Become a moderator
Help make this move faster! Right now I'm approving every event, group, and speaker myself. If you can spend a little time reviewing new listings, I'd love your help.
Moderators check that each listing is real, relevant, and complete, then approve it with one click. You'll get new submissions by email, and you can review whenever it suits you.
